Hertfordshire Tigers
About Our League
Hertfordshire Tigers is made up of 15 Golf clubs from Hertfordshire. The tigers is currently made up of 3 leagues the top 3 teams and a play off winner will enter a sudden death knockout semi final and winners will play in the final which is played on finals day 25/09/2025.
A knockout tournament is also played throughout the year, the final match will also be played on finals day.
All clubs are represented at finals day x 4 golfers where teams not in the finals will fight it out for the shield.

Join the League
If your club would like to join the league please send an e/mail to bryanwappat@aol.com
We are currently looking for 5 hertfordshire gold c clubs to join to make 4 leagues of five, so far 4 clubs have submitted an interest 3 have been added to the knockout for 2025.
Entry fee is £150 paid by the club, Entry to the league must be agreed by 4 captains who will play the course and check facilities before agreeing entry.
Teams can opt to join the knockout only.
If no spaces are available for the league then entry to the knockout will be permitted at £50 & the team will be added to the waiting list until a team drops out or we have the 5 new clubs to make 20.
Closing dates for the 2026 season is end of August 2025 for the cup and league as the draw takes place on finals day.

Runners up play off
2 Highest points league runners up will play each other for a chance to make it in the semi fanal, play off to be played on 5th september or before if captains agree. Highest points runner up will have home advantage.

Ganes to be played 12th September 2024.
Highest points league winner (home) v Winner of runner up play off .
2nd highest points winner league winner (home) v 3rd highest points league winner.
